70,000 miles with a Volvo C30 in Vermont

The Volvo C30 does battle with a VW Golf GTI while being lifeless at the same time I never followed up with an update on life with the 2009 Volvo C30 R-Design that I eluded to in this piece, so let’s jump forward three years. The C30 has not grown on me since I purchased it. I had low overall expectations, and they have stayed there. It corners and accelerates as well as a GTI and comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. After 70,000 miles with this car, it’s clear that Volvo could have easily sold more of these if they had chosen to make the driving experience a bit…Read entire story

Jaguar teases new XF Sportbrake in Wimbledon, but we probably won’t get it w/ video

Jaguar teases the latest long-roof variant of the latest XF sedan. Like many other long-roofs, don’t expect this one to come stateside. What’s going on? Ever Wonder Why Flights Take Longer Now Than They Used To?

Ever Wonder Why Flights Take Longer Now Than They Used To?

When British Airways and Air France started offering flights in the Concorde Supersonic Jet back in the 1970s, it seemed as if slow flights were soon to be a thing of the past. After all, breaking the speed of sound (767.269 mph) isn’t only something that most people don’t get to experience, but is much faster than the 500 to 600 mph speeds usually seen on commercial flights. When supersonic commercial flights started taking place, some people jumped onboard just to experience it, while others found it a great alternative to spending eight hours to cross the Atlantic. But, there were a few major problems.First off, those supersonic flights were expensive – not only for passengers but for flight operators as well. The Concord held just…Read entire story

The 2018 Ford Mustang, this is it, with a new face

The 2018 Ford Mustang, this is it, with a new face

Despite the 2017 Detroit Auto Show happening earlier this month, Ford revealed an updated Mustang for the 2018 model year. But don’t expect any major changes…perhaps except for a new face. And after hitting the web, it was immediately met with mixed reception. That’s on top of the already “love it, or hate it” ordeal surrounding the current Mustang’s design. The entirety of the latest 2018 Ford Mustang remains relatively the same as the current model. But the front-end is given a much sleeker look thanks to…Read entire story

The German automaker is scheduled to introduce the HoloActive Touch system, a concept interior that removes all sorts of traditional interior features and replaces them with a floating protection that interacts with a touchscreen pad. If you can’t picture it, think Tony Stark in the …Read entire story
